Hello everyone. My name is Matthew Manley and I am a senior here at Penn State majoring in accounting. After graduating, I plan on sitting for my CPA exam and working for a Big Four accounting firm. I am originally from a city in northeastern PA called Scranton, which many of you may know as the city where the NBC television show “The Office” takes place. I recently turned 21 this year, so when I’m not studying or doing schoolwork, I like going out with my friends and having a good time.

Being that I am an accounting major in Smeal, you might expect that I don’t particularly enjoy the sciences too much. I am mainly taking this class to satisfy the last Gen Ed requirement that I need, but chose SC 200 for the fact that it is aimed at non-science majors. I’m in the class now in the hopes that it will be a fun and interesting way to get through my last science class ever.
