For what or for whom did Frankenstein dare steal from a powerful being as herself? Where is her missing piece now? Does she even want it anymore? She is also fascinated by human nature and the people who reside in the tunnels. She spends a lot of time with them since they are the closest clue she has to find Dr. Frankenstein. She learns a lot from them.
Story Development: When Dr. Frankenstein set out to create his monster, he sought elements of human life, human nature. He found it – some of it in The Stranger. She doesn’t have a name, she doesn’t have an origin but she knows what Dr. Frankenstein stole from her. Humans can’t understand what it is; it simply translates to “rib”. The Stranger is on a mission to take back what was taken from her. At first, she is angry, but that shifts into curiosity. For what did Dr. Frankenstein use her “rib”? She seeks the truth, to understand human nature, what it means to create and be created from.
