  1. Thesis 1 is unclear. What do you mean by “environmental issues” and “uncontrolled circumstances”? I’m not sure whether you are discussing spatial issues or environmental/sustainable issues. If you are interested in this thesis, please clarify it and I will take another look. Thesis 2 seems like more of a fact than an idea that can be argued. When thinking about a thesis topic ask yourself, “would anyone disagree with me?” and if the answer is no, then think of a variation on the topic that would have more possible points of view. For example you could say, “The restrictions on Japanese architecture due to limited land space have led to much more innovative buildings”- and back this up with a few examples. Your third thesis is a good start. Consider focusing this idea to look at one or two examples which prove your point.
