Collage is the art of assembling and arranging a collection of papers, materials, or objects to form a new composition.
In this workshop, participants will create a small handmade book from one sheet of paper and practice collage as they illustrate their book with images gathered from magazines, photographs, and memorabilia.
Making art requires us to be totally present with process. Find out how that presence restores us.
Materials Needed:
1 sheet of paper, elongated rectangle, 11X17 works well (LONG standard copy machine size)
Scissors
Glue Stick,
Old magazines
photos to cut up
fancy papers,
ticket stubs
receipts
etc.
