Tech Tip: Create a UCS filter for meeting invitation replies

When you are the meeting organizer in UCS, meeting invitation replies sometime can clutter up your inbox. You can easily create a filter so the email responses from meeting invitees are automatically filed into a folder.

To create this filter:

  1. Click the Preferences tab
  2. Select Filters from the Overview Pane on the left
  3. Select the New Filter button
  4. Name the filter (Example – Meeting Invitation Replies)
  5. Click the Subject button and choose Calendar from the drop-down menu
  6. Under Perform the following actions section, click the Keep in Inbox
    button
  7. Choose File into Folder
  8. Click the Browse button
  9. Click the New button on the bottom left to create a new folder (or choose
    a mail folder from the list if you have already created a folder for the
    meeting invitation replies)
  10. Type a name for the folder, choose a location and click OK
  11. Click OK

Now all meeting invitation replies will automatically be filed into this folder!
