All Faculty, Staff and Students who use Penn State’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access protected University resources must download and use the University’s new VPN, Global Protect by June 19 to stay connected.

Currently, Library Faculty and Staff are using a variety of devices to work, library managed machines, corona laptops, loaner laptops and personal devices.

To install Global Protect VPN, you will need to follow instructions based on the device you are currently using.

The staff site page below has been created with instructions for each possible device, PC and Mac.  Please make sure you follow the instructions for your device for installing Global Protect first.  Next, everyone will the same instructions to login for the first time.

Please Note: If using a loaner laptop or personal device to connect, you will need to manually add the portal address secureconnect.psu.edu to connect.  All library -managed devices will connect automatically.
