Create email templates using signatures

By Ryan Johnson, technology training coordinator

ITS has recently added a video tutorial on a topic I’ve been showing in my UCS Tips and Tricks class, using the signature preferences tab to create an email template. Email templates allow you to increase efficiency by not having to type the same content over and over again.

Watch the tutorial linked below to see how its done!

Nominate a deserving co-worker for annual achievement award

Nominations for the University’s annual Faculty and Staff Achievement Awards, which recognize outstanding employees, are now being sought.  The deadline is January 8, 2014. The awards are:

The Barash Award for Human Service
The McKay Donkin Award
The Award for Administrative Excellence
The Staff Excellence Award
The Support Staff Award
The Dr. James Robinson Equal Opportunity Award

The on-line nomination form and a description of each award are available on the OHR website at http://ohr.psu.edu/employee-and-family-resources/fsaa/. Nominations must be for a specific award, and supporting documentation should support the criteria of that award.

Please take this opportunity to think about the extraordinary contributions of our colleagues, both to the Libraries and to the University, and honor them with a nomination.
