Purpose: This policy is to ensure that students are eligible and have completed registration for PT 395 E, F, and G to ensure liability insurance coverage prior to beginning their clinical education affiliations.

Policy: All students will be officially registered for PT 395 F and G in order to be covered by the student liability insurance.

Procedure:
1. The ACCE will notify students to register for PT 395 E, F & G at the appropriate time based on the University Registrar’s schedule.
2. The ACCE will check registration status, academic progress, and eligibility 2-4 weeks prior to the start date of the clinical experiences.
3. Any student who has incomplete registration will be notified by the ACCE.
4. The registration must be completed by the last day of class of the current semester.
5. Failure to complete registration will preclude the student from completing their clinical experience as scheduled. The clinical site has the right to refuse to supervise the student based on the delay incurred.
