EMS (Events Management System) Update – April 22

The EMS (Events Management System) update has completed.

The client updates – for those of you who have the EMS client installed on your machine – will be completed throughout the day. You’ll be able to tell by clicking on your shortcut and looking at the dates under the General tab. If you do not have an updated client, you’ll receive a message when you open EMS Client.
“New Client software is available. You are not running on the latest client version. Contact your EMS Administrator for instructions to upgrade your EMS client software.”
If you are still receiving this message after 9am on Monday, April 23, 2012, please contact the Student Affairs Information Technology Service Desk.

If you notice any problems when using the latest version of the client or while using https://reservations.psu.edu, please contact the Student Affairs Information Technology Service Desk.

Thank You,
Cheri Graham

This Sunday, April 22, 2012, an EMS update will occur between 8am-10am.
Please refrain from using the client or https://reservations.psu.edu during this time.
If you are one of the Student Affairs staff that has the EMS Client on your machine, then please log off, but leave your machine on over the weekend so that the new client version can be applied. If you use the client and do not have the update by Monday, April 23, please contact the Service Desk.
