“Protecting our Identity and Safeguarding our Information,” will be presented by Matt Soccio and Nick Roy and is intended for a non-technical/general audience.

Learning Objectives:

  • Gain an understanding of what authentication is
  • Learn about the different types of “factors” that can be used when proving who you are when using electronic systems
  • Learn about the things you can do to proactively protect your social media and other Internet services
  • Learn how Penn State is working to provide a strong platform for authentication including additional authentication factors
