All past PMI participants are invited to attend a Saturday Workshop at the University Park campus on February 27, 2016.  The workshop will run 10am – 2pm, with lunch provided.  The workshop is free to attend. We are unsure at the moment whether we can offer ACT48 credit for the professional development (but we can definitely offer lunch and a sense of community).

We will check in with your classes and your experience after PMI.  Fran and Andrew will also run a professional development segment as well. We will look at a problem appropriate for most of the K-5 band (grade level determines the given numbers), explore participants’ multiple routes to solving it, spend time unpacking the underlying mathematics, and look at what students’ responses can tell a teacher.
