A National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM)) Town Hall will be held on February 27 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM in HUB Room 134.
Join members of the National Academy of Sciences, Penn State Office of the Provost, Office of Vice President for Research, Sustainability Institute, College of Arts & Architecture, and others invited to respond to the 2018 report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, “Branches from the Same Tree” on the importance of integrating the arts and sciences.
Discussions will focus on the NASEM report, which is available as a free PDF download at NASEM Report, along with Penn State works in progress related to Sustainability (Schreyers Honors College), Artists in Residence (ArtSci) Program (OVPR), and Interdomain General Education Courses (Undergraduate Studies).
