22 MBA students left early Friday morning to visit one of Hershey’s manufacturing plants and distribution center.  We were on the road by 6 am all eager to see and hear from Hershey.  We were greeted by five of Hershey’s employees including Jason Ryman, VP of Supply Chain, Janet from Customer Service, Mary from Integrated Planning, Dan from Planning, Roger from Packaging and a representative from Manufacturing.  They presented the “Kiss”tory of Hershey as well as relevant information about today’s operating environment.  The presenters covered each of their functional areas and fielded questions from the curious MBAs.  We were introduced to Continue reading →
