This week has been full of great moves toward our end goal. I finalized our stacked bar graphs for publication at a later date. In addition, I created some new tables that are more appealing and easier to read for someone unfamiliar with the work we are doing. I am getting excited because a majority of our data analysis in SPSS is complete. The following steps are mostly interpreting our results and formatting our images and visuals in a cohesive way.
I am most excited for a potential research brief. We are throwing some ideas around this week and working on an outline Monday. The purpose of the brief is to educate the public. To do so, we want to include important research and data, but we want the level of the literature accessible to a wide range of people. In order to write a meaningful brief, a large part of creation is background knowledge. In order to build knowledge, I have been reading articles on an array of topics that include deaf education and ASL variation. I am looking forward to these last few weeks and getting words down to describe our findings.
Wow, reading this made me so excited! Everything seems to be coming along super well for you and I anticipate learning about your results. I love reading about your research because it’s just so different from mine, it’s a nice way to learn 🙂
This is all so exciting! I can’t wait to see your results and conclusions! It’s great that you’re using your data to educate people and expand overall knowledge.
