Hello all! I am happy to say that this week was an exciting one. I got to practice both a revised version of my lesson plan, as well as run through one of our interviews. The changes to the lesson plan were a success! We are now focusing on an emphasis on proprioception in the pronunciation lesson by taking more time to encourage participants to see and feel the differences between the bilabial /w/ and the labiodental /v/. Additionally, we implemented a feedback system, where we will have participants give a thumbs-up whenever they feel that they have produced the different sounds correctly. I am very eager to make the final adjustments on our lesson and interview slides! As always, I wish all of my fellow fellows the best of luck in their studies! 🙂
