I cannot believe it has already been 8 weeks! I only have one more week to get in all of the participants I can! This week, I had more luck with participants showing up and was able to get in 9, bringing me to 31 participants. My goal is still 40, but I would love to get even more than that if I can. With the final week approaching, I have some files to organize and things to get together so that I can go through my data once the school year begins. I love organizing, but there are a lot of places to backup and keep track of files, such as on Box and on the external and internal hard drives. For now, I think everything is being organized in a smooth manner, so hopefully I can continue to keep track and get rid of any unnecessary files.
I am still enjoying talking to different participants. It is very interesting how I can understand who these people are and what their personalities are like just from a Zoom conversation. For example, some people over explain their answers much more than others because you can tell they are just enjoying talking to someone. Even before combing through data, I am finding comparing participant responses to my language history questionnaire very fascinating.
