I can’t believe it’s week 3 already. The good news is I’m slowly getting used to the life here. I no longer have to have my Google Maps opened wherever I go and stare at the board when I’m on buses. My German pronunciation is also getting better, when I first got here, no one understood what I’m saying because my pronunciation’s really far away from standard German. I thought about buying a small whiteboard and write down what I wanted to say in order to communicate, but I can now save that money.

The bad news is I’m still in the process of testing my equipment. I tested on someone yesterday and everything went extremely well, I hope this one will be my last pilot and I can start scheduling as soon as possible. I’m mildly panicking because I only have 4 weeks left. If I want to get forty participants, I need to test at least 10 people every week, that means 2 people every day. A lot of people are using the lab so I can only test early in the morning and after 3 in the afternoon. However, I’m glad to see a lot of people have responded to my survey, most of them qualify and I get at least one new response everyday.
