My third week in Krakow already, time seems to fly! This week again consisted of testing more participants. I have enjoyed administrating the EEG portion of the study. I was also able to meet a lot more people, from the lab I am currently working in, through the lab meetings they hold. I particularly enjoy these lab meetings because for one we get to eat sushi while we also get to hear about the cool research projects that others are investigating. I really appreciate how welcoming and helpful everyone is here.
On another note, this week I was able to take a quick trip to Prague! Where I was able to spend some time visiting the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. One thing that surprised me about Prague is the amount of people that speak English. Since back in Poland, it is quite rare to hear anyone speak English. Also, on the way back to Poland, I had to take a train and then hop on a bus. But the train ran thirty minutes late and as such I was so close to missing my bus. I don’t think I have ever ran that fast in my life to catch my bus. It was a funny experience afterwards to recount but it was certainly not funny in the moment!
