My second week in Krakow! This week consisted of finally testing participants. Me and my peers were a little worried about being able to recruit participants but so far we have had a good turn out. And will be busy for the next few weeks. 🙂 I also learned how to properly clean the equipment. I think my favorite part about this is getting to meet new people and learn more about their college experiences here in Krakow. And how it differs from mine. Like for example, the age difference, usually in the US its typical to begin college at 18, while here the age difference varies a lot. As well as the costs, going to college is very affordable here. I think its also fascinating that so many participants know so many languages! It has inspired me to want to learn a new language as well.
This week I was also able to visit the capital of Poland, Warsaw. During my day trip here I was able to visit a couple museums and toured the surrounding places. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere even if the weather was not the best I was able to get some pretty cool pictures! The food was also amazing. I think I am finally starting to find my own place here in Poland 🙂 !
