I can’t believe it has already been five whole weeks here! For a large portion of the beginning of our visit, we struggled to find participants and were also held back with a COVID exposure. Once we got back to campus and the summer session had started up, we went into classrooms and passed around forms for people to add their emails to. At the end of this week, we had about 50 email addresses that we sent our survey to and have already run 6-7 people combined! This strategy was so successful and we are hopeful to keep up with these participants so we can continue collecting more data. I’m so excited!
Outside of the lab, we have been exploring different areas in and around San Juan, with frequent visits to the beach and an upcoming visit to the rainforest! While the weather is quite hot, I am so happy to be able to take in the sun and enjoy my summer in a beautiful country!
