I cannot believe I am ending off my seventh week in Puerto Rico! It has been such an amazing experience so far, and I cannot wait to finish off my experience with more memories and experiments. I have had a very busy week in terms of running sessions with participants – five sessions on Tuesday, then three each day for the rest of the week. As I said in my past blog, the double sessions means that this large number is actually just finishing up previous participants, however it has been keeping me busy and making me hopeful for my data analysis in the future! I have one more week to recruit and run participants, which I hope will be successful.
I have met some incredibly kind people who have been so willing to show us around the island, introducing us to their food, language, and culture. I have learned so much more than the topic of my study and cannot wait to share what I have learned with my friends and family back home! Whether going to a play in Santurce or visiting the beaches during la Noche de San Juan, I will have many stories to share from this week alone.
Hey Caden!
I am so happy you have been able to recruit more participants. I am also running two sessions per participant, and being able to say you are checking off sessions, but they happen to be from the same participant can feel stagnant at times (for me at least), but I am so happy things have started to pick up! I hope your last week is going well 🙂
