Happy week 4! It’s been a busy week running participants. On monday, we started out the week with my computer not turning on, so we had to reschedule, but luckily later that day we got it up and running.
On Tuesday, we had the wonderful opportunity to present our project to the lab! It was a great experience practicing public speaking and getting to learn names to faces. I was pretty nervous but we ended up doing well.
On Wednesday, the group went to a board game cafe! We were invited by someone in the foreign student center which was super nice 🙂 | love getting competitive and playing games with friends.
On Saturday, we decided to go exploring in the city! We unexpectedly found a really pretty park, met some cute dogs, and enjoyed the beautiful weather. There was one lady with four corgis! We also found a boba shop, which was surpassing to me. Later that day, we went to Korean BBQ! It’s our second time going, and it was even better the second time.
Finally on Sunday, we went to Zocalo to visit the Temple Mayor museum. It was so cool to see the ruins and artifacts. I got to see a violin duo which I absolutely loved, and got a hello kitty donut!
This week we’re continuing participants and hoping for more smooth sessions 🙂
¡Eslayamos!
That sounds super fun! Sorry about the computer, some of my lab mates here in Granada have been having some technical issues too, but I am glad you were able to get it sorted! The pictures are also really cool.
This looks like tons of fun! I’m glad that your presentation went well – we will be presenting out projects to the lab next week and I’m a little bit nervous. I can relate to the technical difficulties, though – sometimes things will just stop working out of nowhere for us. For example, last week our tascam stopped working but worked fine after we simply took the SIM card out and put it back in again…
