This week in the lab we were off to a bit of a rocky start. On Monday we had three participants scheduled but our computer unfortunately malfunctioned that morning during our very first participant. We contacted IT but they sadly did not know went wrong with the computer and suggested we call the manufacturers. After trying to troubleshoot over the phone with no luck we scheduled a meeting over zoom for the next day to try and figure it out. Luckily when he was able to walk us through a way to fix it that morning, so we were off schedule as little as possible. Shout out to Brian though because I simply never would have figured out how to fix it. The rest of the week other than that ran smoothly!

On Tuesday we visited the Museo Palacio de la Escuela de Medicina (UNAM). I was really fascinated by all the exhibits as they showed the progression of medicine in Mexico over time. I really liked the exhibit on medicinal plants native to Mexico. It was also cool to see all the different types of medical tools even if some of them looked scary. I’ve attached photos below.

On Friday, we visited the Torre Latinoamericana in Zocalo. We went to dinner in the building and had a great view of the sunset. We would like to go back again to eat at the restaurant on the top floor as well as see the observation deck at night.
