After a long weekend because of the Pentecost here in Amsterdam and university was closed me, Ceci and Madison decided to jut walk around the town and explore new restaurants around the area. W e were supposed to have a meeting with our advisor Sussane but she unexpectedly fell sick so we had to reschedule out meeting from Tuesday to Friday afternoon. Nevertheless we still met up with our assistant, Dalí, to help us figure some things out with the SONA since we’ve never been on the researcher side of things

We also grabbed dinner with Susanne’s assistant , Merel, in order to get to know everyone better. We had so much fun with her we talked personal life, interests, hobbies, how the US , Latin America and the Netherlands were different but also had some similar aspects.

After finishing up some protocols and paperwork we finally published our project on SONA and we already have participants sign up so we can officially start this week ! Me and Ceci are very excited to start since we’ve had everything ready for a few weeks now and we only needed the green light to start.

For the weekend , me, Ceci, Madison and Perry decided to take a day trip to Utrecht, a city that’s an hour away from Nijmegen, and it was such a fun day , especially because we get to explore different cities within the country and see different things and architectures.
