This week I moved over to the CRiiAS building permanently because I found that I was able to recruit more participants and found that the office where I was working was more comfortable. Funny enough, I have become friends with some of the employees, so it has been nice to come into work knowing my colleagues. I had 10 participants this week so as you can imagine it was an extremely busy week, but all the sessions went really well, and I felt very accomplished after this week.
This past weekend we went to Viejo San Juan to explore the town, it was verry got but super nice to walk around. We went to the beach after and had a great time relaxing in the sun. On Sunday the weather was not great, so we didn’t go out, we took the day to rest. During the week, I have eaten at some great breakfast places and even made some friends with the workers at several cafes. I also went out to eat with some of my new Puerto Rican friends which was super fun! We plan on going bowling this coming Sunday, so I am super excited about that! Rachel and I tried out some Colombian food too, arrepas and empanadas that were delicious accompanied with live music. It took us forever to decide what to eat because the menu was so big, and everything sounded so good. The food we ended up ordering was delicious.
Wow! I’m jealous that you got to explore Viejo San Juan! It’s on my bucket list of places to visit, considering the rich history that it holds. I’m glad to hear you found a new location that works better for recruitment, as well as being able to make friends with the employees! Puerto Rican food truly looks delicious.

Hi Anna! I’m so glad you have a space that works better for you. Recruiting participants is the hardest part. It is great to hear that you are getting to try so much great food! I can’t tell what all of it is, but I would eat every last bite.
