Week five was a great week for participants. We were able to get nine more people ran through the lab! Overall, data collection is still going smoothly. We are now at the point where we can begin coding data, so there are a lot of audio tapes to listen to. Week six is going to be filled with a lot of participants too! Even though it will be their finals week, we are still expecting to have a lot of people.
Outside of the lab, we were able to take a trip to Malaga. We spent the morning on the beach there and got the chance to watch a rowing competition. There were so many teams it was hard to keep track of all the action. The only bad part was that it was very windy. Umbrellas were often sent flying in the air. At one point, I was his by one of them as it flew by. The wind also blew the sand into the air, and that did not feel so nice. Other than that, the temperature and sun were great. Also, we celebrated Christina’s 20th birthday!

Cody,
This sounds like a great week, I’m excited for you guys that you are getting so many participants! Sounds like a fun time in Malaga too. I went to the beach the other day and got hit by so much sand it also didn’t feel great but the warm weather and nice water made it worth it.
