This week was preparing for a lot for our presentation. Not only did we have lots of preparations for our presentation on Monday about our project, but we also had to further work make different audio files using a different software.

For the audio files, we needed the signal to noise ratio (SNR) to be varying through different examples so we could pick an SNR level that was challenging for participants but not impossible.

We will use an SNR audio file we seem fit for our presentation as an example. We are presenting on Monday to a bunch of professors, masters and doctoral students, and researchers who work in linguistics. The people I am most excited to sit in during the presentation is my family, they are coming here to visit me and Susanne offered to have them come. This is so rewarding to me because they haven’t had a chance to hear about what I am doing in this environment.
