Where has the time gone? I cannot believe that week 7 in Nijmegen has already come to a close!
We kicked off this week with a meeting with our advisor, who assembled a plan for our final week here at Radboud.
We then attended a lab presentation by one of the professors here regarding the application of grammatical sentence structure and eye tracking technology in linguistics research. It was extremely educational, and they even provided lunch sandwiches for the meeting!
There was a slight obstacle with the creation of stimuli for a separate research study we are doing here on campus. The SNR ratio for one of the conditions in our experiment got messed up during the conversion to a mono file. I alleviated this issue by working backwards, and converting the files to mono before adjusting their dB levels. This successfully fixed the issue!
My research partner and I had the AWESOME opportunity to go see Bruce Springsteen in concert only a 15 minute walk from our apartment! We had SUCH a fun time jamming out to Born in the USA and his other songs! The band was phenomenal, and we had such a great time.
I am so sad that this experience is coming to a close. I continue to feel endlessly thankful for this experience!
