Currently, I still am in the recruitment process for my project. However, this is providing to be a challenge. Since my corpus is so specific, it is hard to find participants and I believe that Zoom fatigue is playing a role in that. No one wants to stare at their screen and especially now that it is warm out. Hopefully, in the upcoming weeks, I will have more action on my recruitment. For now, I am playing a waiting game.

Hey Amanda! I feel this waiting game haha. It isn’t fun, but I am sure we will get some people soon.
I definitely feel your pain – it took a little while for Felicity and I to recruit enough participants to run our respective studies. Zoom fatigue has been rough on everyone and I think you are spot on in that it’s likely dissuading people from participating. Hopefully you’ll get more people signing up soon! Good luck!
Oof! It seems we’re all in the same spot right now of waiting for more participants. I wonder if this is usually how summer-time tends to be (since everyone is away from their desks) or if everyone globally is equally burnt-out from almost 2 years of remote learning. I wish you luck in finding more participants!
